The 12-inch Vintage Clock Dials, Turn Table.

DJ TIME is a unique sound installation featuring turntables and a captivating collection of vintage clock dials. As of 2023, the collection consists of approximately 30 clock dials, with the collection continuing to grow. Interestingly, phonograph vinyl records and clock dials share a near-identical size, either by accident or design.

The concept is simple: a 12-inch clock dial is placed on the turntable, and as the stylus traverses the scratches on these aged clock dials, it produces a distinctive noise music. Local DJs are invited to take on the role of "DJ TIME" and explore these clock dials as intriguing sound sources. The visual effect is striking as the clock dials rotate clockwise, creating an illusion of time running backward while the DJ performs.

Although the resulting sound may not be ideal for dancing due to its minimalistic nature, it serves as an excellent accompaniment for meditation and evokes a sense of time travel.
